1. License Grant

When you purchase PasSync, you are purchasing a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to use the software. You do not purchase ownership of the software, its source code, or any associated intellectual property.

"Lifetime" means your license does not expire and carries no recurring subscription fee. It refers solely to the duration of your right to use the version(s) of PasSync covered by your purchase.

2. What You May Do

• Install and use PasSync on your personal devices for password and credential management.
• Create encrypted backups of your vault for personal disaster recovery.
• Use PasSync across your own devices via the built-in P2P sync feature.

3. What You May Not Do

• No reverse engineering: You may not decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or architecture of PasSync.
• No redistribution: You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or distribute PasSync or your license key to any third party.
• No exploitation: PasSync was built for secure personal credential management — not malicious, illegal, or exploitative purposes.
• No IP misuse: You may not use the PasSync name, logo, or branding to imply endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

4. Intellectual Property

PasSync and all associated software, documentation, branding, and architecture are the intellectual property of PasSync Inc. All rights not explicitly granted in this license are reserved.

Purchasing a license grants you the right to use the product — not to own, copy, modify, or distribute it.

5. Payments & Merchant of Record

All purchases are processed by Gumroad, our merchant of record. Gumroad handles payment processing, VAT, and receipts. PasSync Inc. receives only a purchase confirmation and your email to issue your license key. We do not store your payment details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

PasSync is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we take security seriously, no software can guarantee absolute security. PasSync Inc. is not liable for data loss, unauthorized access, or damages arising from use of the software.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms over time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of PasSync after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
